What's new for 2025
Mommy has been doing some manifesting and wants you to know that there will be some ch-ch-ch-ch-changes to the HMNP you know and love. She’s dialling down the anxiety on the admin legends. You now have a full 12 hours to register your group’s interest.

Saturday 26 April 9:00am
Entries will go into a ballot, then Castlemaine Royalty will draw the lucky groups. Teams will be announced Sunday 27 April.
What’s staying the same?
Mommy is keeping both the ‘battle’ and the ‘no pressure’ rounds. It’s a real ‘choose your own adventure’ out here.
Dance groups choose their song (or mega mix), with any clashes decided by Mommy. She will use a first picked first served preferential system. If you continue to fight over a song, Mommy will take it off you and no one will get to play with it.
Numbers will, as always, be tighter than Mommy’s spandex. So your best chance to attend HMNP is to register to dance at HMNP.
Mommy will always focus on her dancers first and her audience second. Updates on how your cheer squad can attend will come later – so stop asking Mommy questions, she’s very busy
Boomtown, our spiritual home, will be hosting us again and have promised to up the capacity to allow a few more punters through the door.
Want to dance but don't have a group?
No group, no problem! Mommy is teaming up with Castlemaine Community House in 2025 to provide an opportunity for solo community members keen to shake their booties at Hot Moves, but without a ready made group to register to dance with. Come to the information session, follow Castlemaine Community House socials, or reach out to them.
